1.) What elements and/or characteristics made you say to yourself that you wanted to do entrepreneurship for a living? Who are your influences/heroes/role models?

My characteristics are based on my background in business and also my father, Mr. Lascelles Ozzie Love Teachings to me as a young musician.

2.) If you could compare yourself to someone who is already established in your line of work, who would that be and why? If you don’t like to compare yourself, then what separates you from everyone else who does what you do?

The only person I would compare myself to right now in the music industry will have to be Mr. Mike Darlington because he is an established record label entrepreneur who has worked on epic projects throughout his career and currently.

3.) Everyone in life goes through adversity of some sort. Is there anything in your life that has any influence on the work that you do? What is the most difficult thing you’ve had to endure on your path to becoming an entrepreneur?

Becoming an Afrocentric Entrepreneur, there are a lot of doubts and inner racism that is foreplayed in the impassioned fields, and furthermore pertaining to influences. As for my personal characteristics, one of the most difficult to endure as an entrepreneur conspicuously is being an Afrocentric entrepreneur.

4.) How do you prepare yourself to create? What is your process?

I brainstorm ideas and then make a rough plan of action and then I will further review it with my team and personal assistant.

5.) Unfortunately many industries are full of talented individuals who more or less become the “starving artist” and don’t get any recognition for their talent and/or hard work. What do you plan to do to make sure you stand out and get noticed?

My management team, publicist, road manager and personal assistant preserve a steady work schedule outlined for me to complete for the next 2-3 years as an aspiring musician and entrepreneur so I will gain notable exposure within due time.

6.) Would you rather work for a big corporation or would you rather stay independent? Why or why not? What makes one better than the other? Are you able to make a living with your art? If so, how were you able to attain a career doing what you love? If not, what do you do in order to fund your business? What advice would give to someone who’s interested in pursuing a career in the creative industry?

To be honest I’d rather work for myself and be “my own boss ” and stay independent.

What separates my brands from other brands is strategic team planning that goes into the marketing, brand awareness and brand camping.

I am one that is fortunate to have a profession that “I’m able to be very well off with… I thank God that I’m able to be in the position to be independent and to be an angel investor” in corporations and real estate investments considering that I’m able to amass a career in the habitat that is highly advocated in my skill sets that I’m gifted with.

My biggest advice that I personally would give an upcoming person in the creative industry is to never give up!.

I mean never and do not be afraid to try new things as the virtual world as we know it is evolving by the minute.

7.) How do you think the internet and social media affected the creative industry and how artists are able to market themselves? Social media is obviously an extremely important element in today’s world, especially when it comes to business, branding, marketing, etc. With that being said, do you think an artist will be able to survive in today’s economy if they’re not social media savvy?

In my personal opinion as a talent agent/manager and musician I feel as though that social media is a huge factor in an artist career especially pertaining to branding. It is a key component in the influence of a cult following that will furthermore be a loyal transgression into a loyal fan base. If an artist isn’t social media savvy they still do stand a very great chance of success in the steady fast economy with the right marketer and/or management implementations and recommendations with the due fact as stipulated above in catechism.

8.) Typically, entrepreneurs who try to create products and/or services for mass consumption for the general public and make more money are seen as “sell-outs.” Do you see it that way and if so, what do you plan to do to make sure that what you offer stays true to your brand and make a good living at the same time without having to “sell out”?

My main objective as an entrepreneur is to give my clients and or customers globally the best results and to further grow their brands.

To me to further make a good living at the same time without having to “sell out” my brands are all who I aim to essentially invest into lifestyle brands that are based on … the values, aspirations, interests, attitudes, or opinions of a group or a culture for merchandising purposes. Lifestyle brands like the one that are co-owned and invested by me are ones that inspire, guide, and incentivise people, with the goal of their products contributing to the definition of the consumer’s way of life. Not to mention that most of my businesses are storefront businesses or online human resources servicing businesses as well as fast food chain corporations, stock investment and private ownership as well as global real estate portfolios, to further draw reference to the fact of offer to stay true to my brand and make a good living at the same time without having to be deemed as a “sell-out type entrepreneur.”

9.) Professionally, where do you see yourself 5 years from now?

In five years I see myself elevating as a famous entrepreneur & musician and becoming an underground to mid-level Canadian hip hop mogul.
