1.) What made you want to get into the music business in the first place? Did anyone influence you to do music? If so, who? Influences? Role Models? 

I like independent because you can do a lot of things and not be locked into a major deal that can limit what you can do with your music. You never know what can pop up from all your hard work.

4.) Do you think that the traditional music industry model as we know it is dead? Why or why not? 

Well there is many ways to break into music nowadays as long as you work hard and keep moving forward each day and keep trying to get better with your music.

5.) How do you think the internet and social media affected the music industry and how musicians are able to market themselves? 

It really open up a whole new world I think. Before you had to send demos out and wait to hear back but today it’s as simple as sending an mp3 and your info on a social media page and you can hear back pretty fast if someone wants to work with you. I had someone get a hold of me and say send your music to the #1 background environmental music company in Asia as they thought my music was that good so I tried and it worked out and I’m doing very well so it really open the door for me.

6.) What is the most difficult thing you’ve had to endure in life and has that had any effect on your path to becoming a musician? 

Well I was heading to Hollywood as a karate stuntman when that dream came to an end following a 1987 car accident and was diagnosed with fibromyalgia as I never gave up. In 1999 I met my wife Perchita we became friends and fell in love and song writing came out of me with grace of God. I can’t really play and instruments do to my pain but I worked with some people that helped me understand music better and found out I could compose my own music. Today I wrote, compose, and produce all of my own music with some of the best studio musicians as the doors are starting to really open with the grace of God as my life is truly not over.

7.) Artists who try to make music for the general public and make more money are usually seen as “sell-outs.” Do you see it that way and if so, what do plan to do to make sure you make music that is true to your brand and make a good living at the same time without having to “sell out”? 

Well I make music that you can feel in the heart and soul. I been hearing a lot of amazing feedback how my music really touches people, brings something out in people and they really take to my music as it’s really the grace of God because of it. If people think I’m a sell out, it’s okay I am who God says I am and all that has happened to me it’s been truly amazing what God has done in my life and with the music. Wow pinch me it’s like a wild crazy dream.

8.) When you do music, what would you like your listeners to get out of your music? 

When they hear my music it makes a feeling really stand out, a special moment in their life from good times or from someone they love.
