This is the debut official album from the group which consists of 2 members. Rich Flair (Producer) & Boogs Mack (Rapper/Singer).
This project is meant to be for the grown and sexy crowd who want to have a good time instead of talking about shooting guns and flashy clothes and cars, we focus on women & relationships and the “ratchet” dynamic. We like to say that we make “age appropriate” music as we are both in our late 20s going on 30. We are from the New England area (Boston/Providence, RI).
Booty Call Hours starts off with the track, “Inspire U,” a track that does an excellent job introducing the group, M.O.T.F. aka Mattress On The Floor. The track does this with the group name being sang throughout the song. “Fuck Buddy” is rated R for sexual content. The name of the track by itself says it all. Anyone who listens to this song should know what they will get out of it content-wise and what mood they might be after listening. Sometimes you might not want to be in a relationship and might just want a friend-with-benefits, otherwise known as a fuck buddy. “Top Of The Morning” is a very smooth sounding track that allowed Boogs Mack to borrow the hook from the classic H-Town song “Knockin Da Boots.” “Baby Daddy” is where Boogs Mack really flexes his cockiness about his sex game on the track. I think it was cool how he was able to take the rhythm from the C Murder “Fuck Dem Niggas” song and use it as part of the hook. On the track “Nasty,” Boogs tells you plain and simple that he likes his women ratchet. He likes them nasty too.
“Ratchet Vibes” has Boogs singing with autotune, something that was very popular within Rap and R&B at certain points and times. Boogs did the singing throughout the track while his guest feature, Oxzy gave us some braggadociosness in his bars. “Payroll” pretty much exposes the fact that some women will do whatever takes to get paid. Whatever it takes to get paid, she will do it. ‘Nuff said. A woman who is your “Private Dancer” is what some men want. When she’s your private dancer, she’s YOUR personal stripper.
“Vanessa” could be an actual person or a metaphor. The woman talked about in this song is compared to a woman named “Vanessa.” One thing is for certain, it sounds like Vanessa was really sexually adventurous. “Trickin” is a real straightforward title. Boogs states it plain and simple, that he’s “trickin on a bitch.” Trickin is what a man does to make sure the woman that he is with stays with him. Boogs is trickin and that’s that.
“Dead Right” speaks on the fact that the advice given was dead right. The phone skit that plays during part of the track added some humor to the track. It was a bit of an intermission also. The last track “Ain’t Gotta Go Home” let’s a woman know that she doesn’t have to go home, but she needs to get the hell out after the sex is over. Oxzy is back with some more straight-no-chaser bars. He’s that dude who will get some pussy, bust a nut and be courteous enough to call an Uber ride to come pick her up and take her home or wherever she wants to go if she doesn’t want to go home. One thing’s for certain, Booty Call Hours is definitely the type of music that is for a grown audience, a grown and sexy audience. M.O.T.F. clearly make “after hours” music, music that can be played in a porn or any strip club in America. If B.E.T. UnCut was still around, this album would’ve been perfect especially if there were some raunchy music videos for some of the songs on the album. This project could easily be a soundtrack for a porno. Overall this album is for men who enjoy women and the “ratchet” dynamic and women who enjoy hearing dirty talk and both parties who love all of the above and are all about rough sex.
