1.) What elements and/or characteristics made you say to yourself that you wanted to do entrepreneurship for a living? Who are your influences/heroes/role models?
I rather claim global citizenship than the ones I have, for the fact that I don’t wholly fit an X, Y, Z nationality, and all of its cultural weight that comes from them.
With the hopes of getting ourselves back to be inspired by changes and exploration, I not only seek people progressing in their lives in different places worldwide but also to have a name for this global spirit, belonged to the places where you’ve have been: Eudunian isn’t bad at all. Isn’t it?
I have several role models, for different sectors in life. Sara Blakely for her courage, Elon Musk for the execution of his fearless visions, Oprah and others.
2.) If you could compare yourself to someone who is already established in your line of work, who would that be and why? If you don’t like to compare yourself, then what separates you from other everyone else who does what you do?
That’s an interesting question. I believe that I am only putting in practice a solution for an issue I have faced or saw others facing uncountable times in this life, aside from bringing a statistically proven economic benefit to the places where Eudunia will be available, by regulating and broadening the spectrum of talents and companies.
3.) What is the most challenging situation you’ve had to endure on your path to becoming an entrepreneur?
I am coming back to the scene after six years out.
As an entrepreneur 10 years ago, I lacked cold blood when dealing with several no’s and sexism. My most serious difficulty was to deal with the “dark side” of some human’s mind.
I burned bridges for not being the most diplomatic person when people behaved immorally or untruly. I step out of the game, disgusted by what I have seen, and unable to deal with people’s egos.
Now, after years in the corporate world, I developed great emotional intelligence dealing with different people, different mindsets, people’s self-assurance and recognition needs.
I am sure this will be the base of all of the diversities I might face -that comes from people. To understand the bottom of people’s needs and how to react to it was my most significant learning of the decade.
4.) Would you rather work for a big corporation or would you rather stay independent?
I have lived both sides, and I highly believe that both experiences gave me invaluable learning.
The creativity we can exercise when opening our own company or working for a startup is indescribable. Working with like-minded colleagues will boost your energy and ideas. Working for a goal everyone seeks to achieve is rewardable.
The learning of a rigid hierarchy, however, also brings excellent knowledge. Not that I accepted it, but the world runs this way, and we need to deal with some restrictions and barriers that people themselves impose. To accept and deal with what I disagreed with exercised my diplomatic skills. It is an experience I need myself for my life, and I am very thankful for that.
5.) Typically, entrepreneurs who try to create products and/or services for mass consumption for the general public and make more money are seen as “sell-outs.” Do you see it that way and if so, what do you plan to do to make sure that what you offer stays true to your brand and make a good living at the same time without having to “sell out”?
I am not sure Eudunia could ever be a sell-out. It is different, as it is a public service authorized by and worked together with local governments. Myself by no means, I would ever create a money-only goal product or services. I am an empath, a real INFP personality, and helping people is just something intrinsic to me.
Eudunia is my craziest and most significant project to actively place my ideas regarding talent and resources globally exchanged after the challenges I have faced, saw people dealing or challenges I helped them administer.
6.) Professionally, where do you see yourself 5 years from now?
Ah, the five years question.
Being officially a Eudunian and having helped several Eudunians around the world to pursue their talents and life goals!
