Life has been nothing short of beautiful, this I can say boldly considering everything that has popped up my path right from the day I spoke my first words. To the ordinary eye, I am considered a random person, but something always makes people take a break and exclaim and one word which everyone expresses after getting to know even a tad-bit about me is: Impressive!

Indeed, it would be hypocritical of me to say that I haven’t had my share of setbacks and times when I thought everything I strived to build would come crashing down; but then, drawing from the little things that no one thought mattered, I always pulled through. I have always had the belief that you are your greatest inspiration and also your investment. And so, I picked up the lemons life threw at me and made lemonade out of it. Let me show you how…

My childhood would be considered a happy one, well…until I found myself on the street. The pavement became my buddy and the sidewalk became my ever-loving companion. And this is the story of Dmitri Pereira.

On stage, I am someone you may call crazy. Yeah, music gets me crazy. Hip hop, R&B, you just name it. By crazy, I mean passionate, bubbly, and that warm feeling that encapsulates you when you think of or listen to good music. I’ve got the vibes, you see, and can naturally infuse it into everybody and anybody. In a nutshell, I am a music mutt who prides myself on being flexible and adaptive to any circumstance, making the best of it.

Apart from music, you would also naturally find me in the world of arts, telling short stories, science, paintings, metaphysics, and what have you.

Back in the days of the hustle and struggle, my focus was always on success by any means necessary, hook, or crook. I am a person who has a penchant for taking on new challenges with a smile. I’m sure this is one of the priceless attributes that makes me captivating and passionate. Not only does knowledge attract me like a magnet, but I also get immersed in the physical and metaphysical realm, being a person who has long been fascinated with the unknown, unexplained and paranormal world of existence.

Let me at this point add that I came to a crossroads at a point in my life when I was giving up on my life-long dream of music. I just felt like it was not worth it anymore after I had invested decades into it; all my efforts were giving little rewards and I felt I was spending too much time on it. So, I had to decide whether to continue making music or quit and pursue a different path, just like every other normal adult who wasn’t spending so much time in the basement making music or sleeping.

When I was 26 years old, everything was caving in on me and unfortunate events were happening to me as if they were planned, occurring almost at once. Fortunately, an old friend of mine from the Caribbean came to my aid, and together we went to a spiritual advisor with 3 questions in my heart. These questions were bugging me so much but I still could not share them with the spiritual advisor, and you can bet that at least one of them bordered on music. Anyway, I had my hope revived as a beacon of light shining through, albeit not without a condition to myself. I told myself that if at the age of 30, everything still became futile and the future bleak, I was quitting totally.

Years rolled by, I had to split myself to meet the life-changing demands of work, school, family, and even legal complications. Thank God I didn’t give up on myself; somehow, my whole life managed to get back on track. Today, my ship sailed without sinking and I am currently the CEO of Diggit It Entertainment, established in March 2020, with a beautiful daughter Dianisis who is 8, from whom I derive an amazing world of inspiration to live my dream.

I wouldn’t say I have achieved it all, as I still have great plans for the future, something big you may look out for. Surely, you won’t miss it, as Tre Digga would soon become the newest name hot on everybody’s lips. My music is for everyone, bringing people from all walks of life together.

You may call me weird, bizarre, rare, and all; but one thing I wouldn’t call myself is a loser. I am a die-hard optimist. I’ve got the flair, the style, but most importantly, I’ve got the music to make you move. The locale has always been a major inspiration for great musicians of the past, and my area has been no different for me. With this, I have been able to create an awe-inspiring dimension to the music, with each new track even better than the last. With music perfect for everyday listening or getting you hyped for a night out, you can be sure I’m going to be the next big thing. Wait for it!

With this book, I will introduce myself to you completely. I am Tre Digga, an unrivaled, enigmatic, focused, driven, and confident Artist/CEO with an irrepressible burst of life.

1.) What elements and/or characteristics made you say to yourself that you wanted to do music and entrepreneurship for a living? Who are your influences/heroes/role models?

It was always in me and the lack of opportunity. I’m my influence hero and role model.

2.) If you could compare yourself to someone who is already established in your line of work, who would that be and why? If you don’t like to compare yourself, then what separates you from other everyone else who does what you do?

My vision is compared to any of the ones before me who did the same I’m incomparable in the way into about accomplishing it.

3.) Everyone in life goes through adversity of some sort. Is there anything in your life that has any influence on the work that you do? What is the most difficult thing you’ve had to endure on your path to becoming an entrepreneur?

Finance, passion my own including my team, lack of opportunity and direction, haters, location, and life. Everything has been a good or bad situation to endure for the preparation of this new journey.

4.) How do you prepare yourself to create? What is your process?

I’m always creating. I’m always trying to create and expand on new opportunities for music as long as the beat is right, it picks me I don’t pick it.

5.) Unfortunately many industries are full of talented individuals who more or less become the “starving artist” and don’t get any recognition for their talent and/or hard work. What do you plan to do to make sure you stand out and get noticed?

To learn from their mistakes and include everyone who has the same passion and treat all with respect. This is a label for artist by artists we provide advice from the ground up.

6.) Would you rather work for a big corporation or would you rather stay independent? Why or why not? What makes one better than the other? Are you able to make a living with your art? If so, how were you able to attain a career doing what you love? If not, what do you do in order to fund your business? What advice would give to someone who’s interested in pursuing a career in the creative industry?

I’d rather go wherever God sees fit for me to be. If it’s a corporation then so be it if it’s independent so be it, I do this for the love of music for the passion at this time a big corporation would be nice because they got money advertising and what not but this is built from the ground up more satisfaction in my work. Hopefully we’ll be making money soon, fingers crossed, we’re putting out music selling merchandise I’m basically running a label with lots of services to find and show what we’re doing. My advice is anybody interested in pursuing a career in the creative industry? Holla at my label Digg It ENT, that’s it.

8.) Typically, entrepreneurs who try to create products and/or services for mass consumption for the general public and make more money are seen as “sell-outs.” Do you see it that way and if so, what do you plan to do to make sure that what you offer stays true to your brand and make a good living at the same time without having to “sell out”?

Nah I don’t know about selling out. All I know is you do what you gotta do to survive and you only live once and if selling out means a better future for you and your people then…..

9.) Professionally, where do you see yourself 5 years from now?

I’d like to have my label fully running with our radio station operational with a good majority of our artists on tour with a bigger contract for them.
